Deliverable D5.5 documents the complete range of dissemination and outreach activities during the entire project duration, including assessment of their impact on the targeted žInfrastructure groups.

Deliverable D5.4 presents the series of events and actions taken by the žnventory project in order to inaugurate and communicate to representatives of the Infrastructures community-at-large the public availability of the Observatory, collecting their feedback and assessing their reception, as final input for the future and sustainability of the European Infrastructures Observatory.

Deliverable D4.3 provides the final set of requirements, functional specifications and user guide for the European Infrastructures Observatory web platform. It also includes the results of the formative usability and accessibility tests that were conducted with the web platform. This deliverable also serves as a technical reference for any follow-up (production-level) version of the portal after the completion of the project.

Deliverable D2.3 provides the final set of the European Infrastructures Observatory benchmarking indicators after the finalization of the main e·nventory project consultation activities. The final set of indicators comprises of thirty seven “numerical” indicators organised in nine groups so as to better reveal their capacity: Networking infrastructure, Supercomputing infrastructure, Grid infrastructure, Usage, Users, Investments, Impact, Digital agenda and Other. In addition to “numerical” indicators the European Infrastructures Observatory exhibits European achievements via an additional set of metrics found in the “Organisation mapping”, the “Communities mapping” and the “Chronology mapping of key events” services. The information/consultation/validation process with key individuals, projects, initiatives and e·Infrastructure stakeholders will continue for a group of indicators that are still under discussion and examination and will be added progressively to the European Infrastructures Observatory.

Deliverable D3.3 "Advisory Board final recommendations" documents, after concluding the entire consultation process with the European e·Infrastructures Observatory Advisory Board, the final reflections that will serve as a key milestone and final input to the e·nventory work plan.

Deliverable D5.3 presents the updated project communication package and tools (web-site, brochure, leaflet, etc.) as well as the revisions made to the dissemination and exploitation plans for the project (e.g. Infrastructures events where the project plans to attend and raise awareness, measures to engage with stakeholders and various sustainability roadmap scenarios).

Deliverable D5.2 documents the implementation of dissemination and outreach activities, including assessment of their impact for the first twelve months of the project implementation workplan.

Deliverable D4.2 provides the requirements and functional specifications for the European e·Infrastructures Observatory web platform. The profiling of the targeted users, the description of cases of use, the listing of requirements and associated functional or usability specifications, and the visual renderings of the platform in a sketch-like or more detailed form, are the methods used to derive the system's specifications. These techniques, in tandem, are used to guide system design and development, including information visualisation methods and interface design.

e.nventory report D4.1 "Indicators visualisation and representation modelling and techniques" compiles and describes several information visualisation and representation techniques for data indicators, in accordance with reference/good examples implemented internationally. Although primarily a "technical" deliverable, it is meant to assist the e·nventory consultation activities with a selection of appropriate visualisation engines and interface front-ends for the European e·Infrastructures Observatory.

e·nventory report D2.1 exhibits an extensive survey of existing data observatories in any field and domain in order to assess their characteristics, content, and functionality, as well as a survey of available repositories that contain databases of indicators and metrics related to eInfrastructures. The survey concludes with goodpractices that will be used to shape the nventory specifications.

The 8th Infrastructure Concertation Meeting was organised by the Commission Services with the support of the e-ScienceTalk project on 04-05.11. 2010 at the Globe of Innovation building, CERN, Geneva. This event brought together key players in the Infrastructures community working towards a long term sustainable Infrastructure for scientific research in Europe. This document is the report of the session on Socio-Economic Evaluation of Infrastructures of that meeting.

e·nventory report D5.1 establishes the project communication package (web-site, brochure, leaflet, etc.) and the dissemination plans (e.g. timetable of Infrastructure events where the project will plan to attend and raise awareness).
